Once you choose to move forward with this treatment, preparations begin. Dr. Trevor Williams files down the front of the tooth and roughens it to allow the veneer to bond better. Impressions are made and sent to a dental ceramist at an outside laboratory that creates your veneers and mails them back to the office. Once complete, you will return to the office to have the veneers glued to your prepared teeth. With proper care, most patients enjoy their porcelain veneers for over a decade before needing replacement.
