Invisalign clear braces are an ideal option for residents of Brandon, Florida, who want to enhance their smile without having to worry about the pain and discomfort often associated with metal braces and other types of orthodontic devices. Invisalign uses replaceable aligners that are changed every one to two weeks. Each aligner accounts for a slight change in the formation of your teeth and will gradually allow them to be realigned. That allows for improved function of the mouth and jaws.
Invisalign clear braces gently snap into place and can be removed as needed. It means that you can remove them when it’s time to eat, brush/floss your teeth, or speak in public. They are incredibly comfortable compared to older traditional braces that used metal wires and bands to adjust your teeth. Because the aligner trays are replaced every one to two weeks, you may not feel any discomfort as you transition from one aligner to another. Before you know it, your teeth will be in alignment, and you will be able to smile without hesitation.
In the past, metal bands and wires were used to adjust your teeth, moving them into the desired position. That meant frequent trips to the dentist to have the wires tightened or the bands shifted. It was a painful process for many, especially if the wires broke or a band came loose. Because Invisalign clear braces are made of a hard resin, there are no wires or bands to mess with. The braces are made to gently move your teeth to a new position with each new aligner tray used.
Most people who choose to try Invisalign clear braces claim that those they speak to rarely even know that they are wearing an orthodontic appliance. They are clear and clasp firmly onto your teeth. They won’t slip or slide, and you can speak freely with them in place. Because they are so easy to remove, you can also snap them off if you have to meet someone or give a speech. No one will ever know you have them in.
